What types of wood can I choose from?
We offer a variety of popular wood types, including bamboo, walnut, cherry, and maple. Each wood has a unique grain and color, so you can choose the one that best fits your brand’s aesthetic. We can also source other types of wood upon request for larger orders.
How durable are these cards?
Our cards are designed for durability. The wood is sealed with a protective coating to resist scratches, moisture, and fading from regular use. The NFC chip is securely embedded within the card’s layers, protecting it from physical damage. They are surprisingly robust for a premium product.
What information can I store on the card?
NFC, or Near Field Communication, uses short-range radio waves to wirelessly transfer data. To use the card, someone simply taps it with their NFC-enabled smartphone. You can store a wide range of information, including your contact information (vCard), a link to your website or portfolio, or a link to your social media profiles. You can update the information on your card at any time using our dedicated app or a web portal, which is included with your purchase.
What's the process for placing an order?
The process is straightforward:
- Place your order and submit your design. We’ll send you a digital proof for your approval.
- Once approved, we begin production, which typically takes 1 business day.
- Shipping times vary based on your location.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes, we offer tiered discounts for bulk orders. The larger the quantity, the lower the price per card. Our minimum order quantity is 10 cards, making them accessible for both individuals and small teams.
Do you offer a warranty or replacement ?
We stand by the quality of our products. Each card comes with a one-year limited warranty that covers defects in the NFC chip functionality. If a card stops working due to a manufacturing defect within that period, we will replace it free of charge. We also offer a discounted replacement for cards that are accidentally damaged.
Enrgaving and personalisation
Can you engrave on both sides of the card?
Our laser engraving is highly precise and can capture intricate details. We can engrave on both the front and back of the card. The only limitation is the natural grain of the wood, which may slightly affect the appearance of very fine lines, but this adds to the unique, organic feel of each card.
Can I use my own design?
We encourage custom designs! You can either use one of our professional templates and add your logo, or you can provide your own unique design. For the best results, we recommend submitting your design in a vector file format, such as .AI or .SVG, to ensure the laser engraving is crisp and clean.
Programming the NFC chip
Will NFC work with all smartphones?
The NFC reading distance is about 1-2 inches. It is designed to work with all modern smartphones that have built-in NFC capability, including both iOS (iPhone 7 and newer) and Android devices. Most new phones automatically have this feature enabled.
